Typical private equity funding engagements would have the following phases:
Phase 1: Collateral Preparation
In this phase, we carefully analyze the business of our clients, and its growth prospects to offer them various capitalization strategies. With our knowledge of the private equity market, we help the client decide on the most effective capitalization strategy. We also prepare a complete packet of information to help present to potential investors.
Phase 2: Roadshow and Investor Shortlisting
Using its network of relationships with global private equity funds, Invensys helps the client choose the right kind of private equity investors. Invensys then holds initial discussions with the investors, helps the client on road-shows with potential investors and advises the client on ranking the investors to create a short list.
Phase 3: Commercial Term Sheet
In this phase, Invensys helps the client analyze various offers from potential investors, drives deal negotiations with investors and ensures that the client enters into a term sheet with the private equity fund which meets the client's strategic objectives.
Phase 4: Due Diligence and Closure
In this phase, Invensys facilitates the overall due diligence process, oversees the preparation and negotiation of legal documentation and shepherds the deal toward a successful closing.
